Where Else to Learn About Star Wars

In this post, I am sharing 5 external websites that are great for learning more about Star Wars content.

Although I like to think I am your one-stop-shop for all things Star Wars knowledge, that is sadly not the reality. There are plenty of other sources on the internet that are worth checking out to read about Star Wars content, and I will share some of them here!

It might seem a bit obvious, but the official Star Wars website is a great place to go to gather information on upcoming TV shows and movies, news, blog posts, video games, and access to the actual movies and TV shows themselves. Being that it is the official website of the franchise, this is the most credible place to go to find accurate information about Star Wars. They also made the website very interactive.

The Star Wars "Wookieepedia" website is exactly what the name implies. This is essentially a "wikipedia" for the world of Star Wars, created and managed by fans of the franchise. This is also a great place to go to read interesting blog posts about Star Wars, and the learn interesting facts about all of the characters and worlds throughout the galaxy that the movies take place in.

Similarly to Wookieepedia, the force.net is a website that is home to blog posts, discussion forums, and descriptions of all of the TV shows and movies for fans to learn about. Something unique about this website, is that they contain their own podcast cleverly titled the "forcecast." I think this is another good resource for Star Wars knowledge, and a place to have candid discussions.

Star Wars Kids is a website created under the official domain of Lucasfilm. This website is all about providing fun videos, games, and activities for the younger viewers of Star Wars content. This site is also used to advertise the more kid-friendly shorts like "Galaxy of Creatures," and "Star Wars A-Z." This is a fun, light-hearted, and educational platform for young Star Wars fans.

This site is highly unique. On this platform, you as the viewer have the chance to explore the different planets of the Star Wars galaxy. You are essentially looking at the galaxy as a whole, and you have the ability to click on different planets and learn their name, size, population, climate, and which movies feature that particular planet. This is a very interesting, interactive website that I highly recommend if you really want to learn about the different worlds of Star Wars.

Thank you for reading! Stay tuned for next week when I discuss a very impactful quote from Star Wars.
